Curators’ Choices
Since the museum’s foundation in 1882, the collections
have grown through gifts and purchases, and now represent the
combined vision of numerous directors, curators, faculty members
of the Department of Art and Archaeology, alumnae and alumni,
and friends of the Princeton University Art Museum. The works
illustrated here represent some of the areas of depth, and the
breadth and strength of the museum’s holdings in its fields
of collecting. |
