Graduate Student Gallery Talk Series

Each semester, graduate students are invited to submit proposals for the Museum’s gallery talk program. Gallery talks, which take place on Fridays at 12:30 p.m., with a repeat the following Sunday at 3 p.m., provide an in-depth look at objects currently on display. The talks should be geared towards a general audience and can focus on one object or a group of objects. Graduate students receive a $200 honorarium for their two talks.

Graduate students from all departments are invited to apply, and applicants are strongly encouraged to attend a highlights tour (given on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.) prior to submitting their proposal. Proposals should include a one-page abstract of the proposed gallery talk, with title, and CV, including a list of past lectures and presentations given.
