Friends: Embracing Art at the Heart of Princeton

There is a place for you inside the Princeton University Art Museum. Join the Friends and find the place that’s right for you!
Who are the Friends of the Princeton University Art Museum?
Friends are our neighbors from the local and regional community and beyond. They are families, students, scholars, and Princeton alumni. Friends are people of all ages, interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. Friends are united by a shared passion for the arts and for Princeton, and by a desire to be part of a vibrant cultural community. Friends are interested, active, engaged, and involved in the life of the Art Museum.
Friends are art lovers—just like you.
Why does membership matter?
As a Friend, your membership provides essential annual support to help sustain the continued excellence and diversity of the Museum’s educational programs and community outreach. By joining the Friends, you help to keep education at the heart of our enterprise and assure that the Museum remains a welcoming place of shared enrichment for all visitors to experience, to enjoy, and to love.
What benefits do members of the Friends enjoy?

When you become a Friend of the Princeton University Art Museum, you also become part of a great tradition. Not only will you be actively participating in the life of the Museum, you also will receive special opportunities to share your love of art with other like-minded individuals.
Friends receive a subscription to the Museum’s quarterly magazine and invitations to exhibition openings, lectures, travel opportunities, and lively social gatherings. Additional benefits are offered to higher categories of membership. See the full range of Friends benefits listed below.
