Bequests and Planned Giving

“We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.
—Winston Churchill

Many benefactors choose to support the Princeton University Art Museum by including the Museum in their estate plans. The most common form of planned giving is a bequest made by a will or trust; however there is a wide range of planned gift opportunities, including life income and deferred gifts, which can provide financial and tax benefits to donors during their lifetime and help to shape the work of the Art Museum in perpetuity.

To inquire about bequeathing a work or works of art, you may begin by contacting Nancy Stout, Director of Institutional Advancement (609) 258-5826, who will be pleased to take you through the process. For other planned and estate giving opportunities to benefit the Art Museum, the professional staff in the Office of Planned Giving at Princeton University would be pleased to discuss the many options available for your consideration.
